Arcade Fire Kicks Off Multi-month Tour This Summer

In June of 2017, Montreal-based rock group Arcade Fire kicked off a long tour (dubbed the „Infinite Concert Tour“) to promote their forthcoming album, Everything Now. The album is slotted for release on July 28th, 2017 on Columbia Records.

The Arcade Fire tour kicked off its European leg on June 3rd at the Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona, Spain. Two days later, the band performed at Nuits de Fourviere in Lyon, France. June 7th bought the band to the United Kingdom, where they performed until June 13th. On June 7th Arcade Fire performed at Baths Hall in Scunthorpe, on June 8th they performed at Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, June 10th marked Arcade Fire’s performance at the Isle of Wight Festival in Newport, and on June 13th they performed at Belsonic Festival in Belfast, bringing an end to their stop in the UK. The Arcade Fire tour then headed over to Ireland and Germany, where the band performed at venues Malahide Castle and Tanzbrunnen respectively on June 14th and 16th. The band then performed at two European music festivals – Best Kept Secret Festival on June 17th in the Netherlands and INmusic Festival in Croatia on June 19th. The last June date in the Arcade Fire tour was June 29th, at Rock Werchter in Werchter, Belgium.

The Arcade Fire Tour contained eleven dates in July, kicking off on the first of the month in Denmark where they performed at Roskilde Festival. The following day the band returned to Germany, where they performed at Wuhlheide in Berlin. On July 4th Arcade Fire revisited the United Kingdom, where they performed two consecutive days at London’s York Hall. The tour then stopped in Manchester on July 6th, where Arcade Fire performed at Castlefield Bowl. On July 9th the tour returned to France, where the band performed at the Eurockeennes Festival in Belfort. The next date of the Arcade Fire Tour was July 11th, where they performed at Ahoi! The Full Hit of Summer in Linz, Austria. The tour then returned to France, where Arcade Fire performed at VieillesCharrues in Carhaix. The band then went to Italy on July 17th, where they performed two consecutive dates at City Season Festival. The last July date in the Arcade Fire tour was the 19th, where they performed at the Paleo Festival in Nyon, Switzerland.

After touring for two months consecutively, Arcade Fire takes a well-deserved break during month of August, where their sole performance is scheduled for August 6th at the Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, Illinois.

The Arcade Fire tour resumes in September, where the band kicks off the month by performing several dates in their home country of Canada. On September 5th, the band performs at Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Quebec. The following day, they perform at Bell Centre in their hometown of Montreal, Quebec. On September 9th Arcade Fire then heads over to Ontario, where they perform at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa. On September 12th, the band begins the United States leg of their tour, performing at Madison Square Garden in New York. The tour stays on the East Coast for the next date on September 15th, where Arcade Fire will perform at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The following day Arcade Fire performs at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC, before heading to Philadelphia one day later to perform at the Wells Fargo Center. The Arcade Fire tour then takes a few days off to travel to Atlanta, Georgia, where the band is slotted to perform at Infinite Energy Arena on September 21st. For the next two tour dates the tour heads further South to Florida, where Arcade Fire performs on September 22nd and 23rd at the USF Sundome in Tampa and Watsco Center at the University of Miami in Miami respectively. Staying down South, the Arcade Fire then hits New Orleans on September 26th, where the band is scheduled to perform at the UNO Lakefront Arena. The Arcade Fire Tour wraps up the month of September in Texas, where the band performs on September 27th at the Frank Erwin Center in Dallas and September 28th at the American Airlines Center in Dallas.

In October, the Arcade Fire tour begins on the 11th with a performance at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The tour stays in Alberta for the following day, with a performance at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary on October 12th. The final Canadian tour date for the month comes next on October 14th, where Arcade Fire is scheduled to perform at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. The tour then heads back into the United States the following day, where Arcade Fire performs at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington. The tour largely stays on the West Coast for the remainder of the month, with several dates in California. Arcade Fire performs at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, on October 17th, and on October 18th at the Viejas Arena in San Diego, California.
